The Swimming Pig embodies the craft of smoked, cured, salted and brined meats while showcasing the local and seasonal bounty on Martha’s Vineyard. Our emphasis is on thoughtful and intentional New England fare exemplified by local ingredients. We use our flagship 325 gallon offset barrel smoker to produce thoughtfully sourced and perfectly smoked meats, fish and produce. Our flagship smoker is the backbone of the catering operation and truly a showpiece at any event. 

This custom modified 325 gallon offset barrel smoker can house approximately 40 racks of pork ribs, 12 beef briskets or 30 chickens at time, as well as holding hot foods, baked goods and vegetable sides. It’s truly a unique and eye-catching cooking apparatus and conversation piece at any event or gathering.

In addition to New England style BBQ and cookery, The Swimming Pig can provide abundant grazing and charcuterie boards, local raw bar, professional bartending and service support staff to suit your event’s needs.
